Not all that great. I use a Mach 3, but found the Fusion better. I love thier lotions though.

I've been shaving my head for about 5 years now, (with a Gillette Fusion razor), and I've gotten quite comfortable at it.
My wife bought me the HEADBLADE for xmas, and I gave it a try.
My first thought was that by going with an Atra cartridge, I was taking about 12 steps backward in blade technology, but what the heck... maybe the unique design would make up for it.
My second thought came after I looped the thing around my finger and started to shave. It felt like I was shaving with my feet.
Now I'm going to give it the benefit of the doubt, and state that this could very well be due to the fact that my five years of head-shaving has given me "muscle memory" in that I've grown quite accustomed to moving my hands in a certain manner and speed while shaving.
Therefore, using the HEADBLADE "upset" the smooth flow and what I COULD feel was SCRAPING, as opposed to SHAVING. (I quit before I carved through to my skull!)
I will say this however: the HEADBLADE HEADSLICK SHAVE CREAM is absolutely AWESOME, and as much as I've touted the use of Aveeno shave gel for the past few years, I think I've found a replacement.

I have to agree with the other negative reviews-this razor is tough to maneuver around the ears and really chewed up the back of my head. I would also agree that even the inexpensive three blade disposable razors do an equal, if not better, job than the headblade. Headblade nicked more in one shaving than I have in dozens of times using a traditional two or three bladed razor. The novelty of this razor quickly diminished after multiple nicks. Yes, there's the cool factor, but not at the expense of pieces of scalp washing down the drain. I did like the mentholated shaving cream, though.

I've read a few of the posts saying that the HeadBlade is a bad product and I can't disagree more.
I am new to headshaving, but I use the HeadBlade Sport and love it. I use Gillette Sensor blades and I get a smooth shave.. You must pay strict attention to the proper method of using this product, go to their website and watch the video, it helps. If you have bad habits from shaving with a standard handle you will have to re-learn and then I doubt you would ever go back to the old way of shaving your head.

I'm not sure why others have had problems with this device, I use it on a daily basis, and haven't had any problems. Sure, I've nicked myself once or twice in the two years I've been using it, but that's to be expected. After a few days, it'll be second nature.
I recommend this to all my friends who shave their head, and I honestly can't imagine doing it any other way.
